A man named Francis Cobb launched the company in 1956. The original purpose was not livestock trailer creation, but a client came to Cobb needing a stock rack. He crafted it and saw the valuable opportunity to expand his product offerings.The company began building products for the safe and efficient transportation of animals. Thanks to the ownership of the Bernhardt family, the company started building custom aluminum trailers. Over the years, the product line expanded to include the range of trailers it does today. All of these models are built in El Reno, Oklahoma. They are then distributed to the almost 120 dealerships found in 35 states as well as Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
