Schedule of Coverage
- Chassis Engine Components
Engine block and/or replaceable cylinder sleeves and cylinder heads if damaged as a result of an internally-lubricated part; all internally-lubricated parts contained within the engine block, including, but not limited to: valves, valve springs, valve guides, valve covers; intake and pins; main and rod bearings; oil pump; oil pan; rockers arms; push rods; timing chain and gears, timing cover; flywheel; flywheel ring gear; flex plate; tensioner; vacuum pump; engine mounts; dipstick and tube; turbo and all internal parts; diesel injectors and injector pump.
- Transmission Components
Case, if damaged as a result of an internally-lubricated part; all internally-lubricated parts within the transmission case including: torque converter; bands; clutches; gears; front pump; shafts; shift forks; synchronizers; vacuum modulator; shift solenoids; internal switches and sensors; transmission mounts and pan.
- Drive Axle Components
Drive axle housing if damaged as a result of an internally-lubricated part; all internally-lubricated parts within the drive axle housing, including but not limited to: axle shafts, axle housing; universal joints; constant velocity joints; locking hub mechanisms; wheel bearings; drive shafts; center bearing.
- Engine Cooling Components
Water pump; radiator; cooling fan blades; fan clutch; hydraulic or electric fan motor; heater core; fan shroud and coolant recovery tank.
- Steering Components
Steering gear housing and all internally-lubricated parts; control valve; steering cylinder; rack-n-pinion; factory-installed steering stabilizer; internal steering column shafts; steering pump; main and intermediate shafts and couplings.
- Fuel Delivery Components
Fuel pump; fuel tanks; metal fuel lines; fuel injection pump; fuel injectors; fuel pressure regulator; auxiliary tank switch; fuel lift pump.
- Chassis Air Conditioning Components
Compressor; compressor clutch; clutch bearing receiver dryer; accumulator; condenser; idler pulley; field coil; evaporator; blower fan and motor; high/low cut-off switches, pressure hose assemblies; refrigerant when in connection with a repair to a covered part(s) failure.
- Electrical Components
Alternator; starter; starter drive; starter solenoid; voltage regulator; distributor; manual hand-operated switches; ignition switch; windshield wiper motor and washer pump; power window motor, gears and regulator and dual battery paralleling switch.
- Suspension Components
Upper and lower control arms; shafts and bushings; upper lower ball joints; steering spindles and supports; leaf and coil springs; shackles and bushings; rubber suspension, springs; factory-installed suspension compressor, air lines and suspension air bags.
- Brake Components
Master cylinder; hydraulic or vacuum brake booster; wheel cylinders; calipers; combination valve; metal-only hydraulic tubing and metal fittings; ABS pressure modulator; accumulator; drums and rotors when in connection with a repair to a covered part(s) failure. Air brake components including compressor; lines; treadle valve compensating valve; actuator and diaphragm and slack adjusters.
- Fresh/Waste Water System Components
Hot water tank; burner assembly; thermostat; thermocouple; gas valve; electronic ignition assembly; P.C. board; diesel/electric heating system; shower assembly; toilet; sink; holding tanks; gate valves; water pump; faucets; traps; fittings; water lines.
- Kitchen Center
Range/oven burner assembly; burner valves; refrigerator/freezer; microwave; convection oven; thermostat; thermocouple; burner; igniter; P.C. board.
- Roof or Basement Air-Conditioning Components
Compressor; evaporator; condenser; capacitors; relays; thermostat; heat strips; expansion valve; control module and panel; reversing valve; ventilation fans and motors; blower fan and motor; P.C. board.
- L.P. Gas System Components
Gas regulators; gas tanks; gas valves; tank gauges; L.P. lines and fittings; emergency shut-off system; gas leak detector; carbon monoxide monitor.
- Heating System Components
Furnace igniter; burner assembly; gas valve; gas leak detector; thermostat; thermocouple; blower motor; P.C. board.
- Generator/Power Plant Components
All internal-lubricated parts of the power plant engine alternator; starter; manually-operated switches; voltage regulator; power converter-inverter; P.C. boards; fuel pump. hourmeter; power plant engine block and cylinder heads if damaged as a result of an internally-lubricated part.
- Seals and Gaskets
Seals and gaskets are covered for all listed parts.
Deductible
Standard: $100 Optional: $50
If repairs are done by the dealer that sold you your Agreement, the deductible will be reduced by fifty dollars ($50).
Additional Benefits
- 24-Hour Roadside Assistance
- Towing and Wrecker Service – up to $150 per occurrence for Silver Plan and $300 per occurrence for Gold Plan
- Flat Tire Change – up to $100 per occurrence
- Emergency Gas Delivery – up to $100 per occurrence
- Battery Jump Service – up to $100 per occurrence
- Key Lockout Service – up to $100 per occurrence
- Car Rental
Reimbursement for substitute transportation up to $50 per day for a maximum of six days. Maximum benefit: $300.
- Trip Interruption
Reimbursement for motel and restaurant expense up to $125 per day for a maximum of three days if breakdown occurs. Maximum benefit: $375.
- Service Calls
Payment or reimbursement for a service call, not to exceed $100 per breakdown, if the vehicle cannot be transported to a licensed repair facility.
Gold Plan
The Gold Plan is our most comprehensive plan. In addition to parts listed in this brochure, all other parts of the assembly or system are covered in the event of a breakdown*, except those in the Exclusions section of the Agreement. For diesel engines, all other parts of assemblies 3-17 below are covered except those in the Exclusions section of the Agreement.
Silver Plan
In the event of a breakdown*, the Silver Plan will pay or reimburse you for the reasonable costs to repair or replace any of the parts listed in coverages 1-17, less any deductible. For diesel engines, coverages 3017 will apply.
*Breakdown is the failure of a covered part to perform the function of which it was designed due solely to a defect in materials or workmanship as originally manufactured.
